Hacettepe University<\/a><\/strong>, which was founded on July 8, 1967. It pursues its contributions to social development and universal values in the fields of science, technology and art with 16 Faculties, 15 Institutes, 4 Vocational Schools, 2 Colleges, 1 Conservatory, 98 Research and Application Centers as one of the leading universities in our country today. <\/p>

The mission of Hacettepe University, as a research-oriented university, is to educate highly qualified, open to change and development, questioning individuals in the fields of science, technology and art with its education in the light of universal values; to provide the knowledge, services and technology it produces for the benefit of the community. <\/p>

The social work department was affiliated to Hacettepe University under the name of Social Services School in 1982 with the Higher Education Institution Law, with the participation of the Social Work and Social Services Department, which was established within the Faculty of Administrative and Social Sciences of Hacettepe University in 1967. As of April 2006, it was included in Hacettepe University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences as “Social Work Department”.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Reyhan Atas\u00fc Topcuo\u011flu<\/strong> received her B.A. in Economics at Bilkent University and her first M.A. in Sociology at Middle East Technical University and the second in social work at Hacettepe University. She obtained her PhD in sociology at Humboldt University. She is currently professor at Hacettepe University, Department of Social Work. Her research interests are migration, refugees, human trafficking, social policy and social work, care policy, human rights, and feminist theory<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

G\u00f6khan Top\u00e7u<\/strong> received his B.A. in Sociology at METU. He obtained his Phd in Social Work at Hacettepe University. He is currently research assistant at Hacettepe University. His research interests are gender, social policy, fatherhood, social work and masculinity<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

G\u00f6rkem Kelebek K\u00fc\u00e7\u00fckarslan<\/strong>, she received her B.A. in social work at Hacettepe University. Her M.A. in Social Work at Hacettepe University. She is currently doing PhD in social work at Hacettepe University. She is working at Hacettepe University as a research assistant. Her research interests are social work, gender, feminist theory, divorce, gender-based violence.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Hakan Sakarya<\/strong> received his B.A.  in social work at Hacettepe University. His M.A. in Social work at Manisa Celal Bayar University.
